Andy Robert has organized an evening of poetry readings on migration, kinship, refuge and fugitivity. Participants include: Kevin Michael Key (of Los Angeles Poverty Department) and Charles Wayne Porter III aka The Natural Mystic, Amanda De La Garza, Enrique Winter, Jorge Sanchez, Jamilah Sabur, Justin Allen, Ajia Hunter (host) reading her father William Wayne Hunter aka Big Brother Wayne, and Patrisse Marie Cullors-Brignac (co-creator of Black Lives Matter) and more.

The event is organized in conjunction with the Whitney Independent Study Studio Program Exhibition, on view June 9 - June 27, 2015 at EFA Project Space.
