About DJ Pagan Sounds

DJ Pagan Sounds is a Neo-Rican, born in Arecibo, Puerto Rico, and raised in the South Bronx during the 70s and 80s. Growing up, a diverse range of music genres including Disco, Salsa, Merengue, R&B, Funk, Pop, Rap, and New Wave filled his home. With a childhood friend introducing him to DJing during the freestyle era, Pagán's interest in the craft was sparked. What began as a hobby evolved into a passion, particularly during the pandemic when he honed his skills in live streaming shows on Twitch under the moniker NYC Mixtape.
